Gocce di Napoleon by Morris is an Italian aromatic chypre that opens with a bright burst of bitter orange, Amalfi lemon, and herbal clary sage. Within fifteen minutes, the citrus sparkle settles into an earthy heart of spicy basil, peppery black currant, and crisp lavender. As the hours pass, the scent dries down to a rich, resinous foundation of oakmoss, dark patchouli, and warm labdanum incense that clings to the skin. It feels like stepping into a sunlit Mediterranean garden before walking through an old library lined with polished cedar shelves. This fragrance shines brightest during crisp spring days and cool autumn afternoons, making it an easy companion for casual daytime outings or relaxed office settings. Show less
