Opens with a dry, powder-kissed burst of iris and rosewood. This is not a modern sugary floral, but a throwback to dry wood and dusty makeup tables. As it develops on skin, jasmine and ylang-ylang emerge to soften the dry opening, while patchouli and amber ground the base with a warm, resinous depth. It wears beautifully in crisp winter weather and chilly autumn nights. It is best suited for formal evening events or collectors who appreciate early twentieth-century style.
