Batavia by TRNP opens with an intense burst of crushed cloves and aromatic cardamom before settling into a thick resinous base of benzoin, labdanum, and dark patchouli. Created by natural perfumer Teone Reinthal in 2015, this unisex oriental scent captures the raw, dense energy of South East Asian forests. A soft touch of vanilla planifolia and smoky vetiver emerges in the deep dry down, balancing the heavy herbal spices with a quiet balsamic warmth on skin.
