Become the Shaman by DSH Perfumes is a grounding woody resin scent focused on true burnt palo santo, golden copal, and dry pipe tobacco leaf. Independent perfumer Dawn Spencer Hurwitz crafts an authentic smoldering wood experience rather than a synthetic mall incense. The opening sparks with crisp citrus wood terpenes, wild milkweed, and herbal white sagebrush. As the initial herbal flash settles, smoldering embers of guaiac wood and milky amyris meet balsamic Peru balsam and warm Texas cedar. Sweet vanilla absolute and tonka bean soften the dry woods, creating a calm, meditative scent bubble that never feels sharp.
