La La Love is a plush amber vanilla built around cognac, saffron, incense and woods. On skin it can open boozy, smoky and spicy, then settle into a sweeter amber with vanilla, balsam and tonka giving the dry-down a rich, polished warmth. Reviewers often praise its strength and expensive feel, but the opening is not universally easy. Sample first if you are. Show less

GRAHAM & POTT Royal Llama opens with a sharp burst of Calabrian bergamot and bitter saffron before revealing a smoky heart of incense and Bulgarian rose. English toffee provides a caramelized sweetness that cuts through dark Cambodian agarwood and soft musk. Peach and apricot facets from Japanese osmanthus add a subtle fruity contrast against the dense woody base. Warm nutmeg bridges the bright opening and the resinous dry down. On skin, the caramel accord simmers for hours without overpowering the dry, earthy agarwood backbone. The result feels warm, resinous, and distinctly autumnal. Show less

Expo by Jealous opens with a sharp burst of crisp apple and tangy black currant, immediately laced with warm saffron and dry pink pepper. As the tart fruitiness softens, a dense rose and clean jasmine heart emerges over a heavy woody spine. Dark patchouli, golden amber, and soft musk ground the base, creating a bold fruity-woody contrast that stays present for hours on skin. It wears best during cool spring evenings or crisp autumn afternoons, where the spicy rose and dark woods cut through chilled air. Wearers who enjoy structured Middle Eastern style rose-patchouli scents with an upfront pop of orchard fruit will find plenty of substance here. Show less
