Bois Nomades hits the skin with an immediate, prickly burst of black pepper and pungent clove. Give it three minutes. The initial alcohol flash burns off quickly, revealing warm cinnamon bark and sticky, sweet cured tobacco leaf. Alberto Morillas built this scent around a core of dark Damask rose, but it never turns powdery or soapy. Instead, the rose smells jammy and stewed, sinking gradually into a dry bed of Atlas cedar and smoky myrrh resin. You will not find any barnyard filth or medicinal sharpness in this agarwood base. It stays polite, dry, and woody throughout its life cycle. On cold autumn afternoons and freezing winter nights, it radiates a comforting, personal cloud of spiced cedar and warm incense smoke.
