Peter Charkalis created Cacao Lussuria for Ariana & Evans as a dark, boozy gourmand that avoids sticky sugar. The opening hits with a sharp burst of bitter orange alongside dark cocoa pod and freshly ground coffee beans. It feels raw and slightly bitter at first rather than baker-sweet. As the wet alcohol vanishes, dark dried fruits soak into aged cognac and dry pipe tobacco. Vanilla and tonka bean smooth out the rough edges underneath, but wood notes keep the blend grounded. It sits close to skin after three hours, giving off a cozy warmth built for chilly evening air. Show less
