Toni Cabal Oud & Berries opens with a bright blast of forest fruits and raspberry that avoids the usual cloying syrupiness. The initial fruitiness has a sour edge that sits on top of a warm, slightly dusty base. As the fragrance settles, a deep Laotian oud joins the composition, keeping the sour berries grounded. It performs best in cold weather or crisp autumn evenings, cut by the cool air to prevent the heavier wood from becoming stuffy. This works well for those who want a woody scent with a noticeable fruit note, but it might feel too heavy for casual summer wear. A sample is recommended before committing to a full bottle. Sweet Night by Kenooz opens with a bright burst of blackcurrant, tart raspberry, and dark plum, backed by soft tropical mango. As the top notes settle, sweet jasmine orchid and fresh rose bring a lush floral heart that prevents the scent from becoming overly sticky. The dry-down relies on a heavy base of melted chocolate, dark vanilla, smoky frankincense, and warm ambergris, pinned down by a clean leather note. It is an assertive evening fragrance designed for cold autumn nights and late winter gatherings. The fruit notes linger longer on clothing than on warm skin, where resinous ambergris takes over after two hours of wear. Show less
