Evolution by Zimaya opens with an intense blast of sharp oregano and tart bergamot, rapidly giving way to a dense, resinous heart of amber, opoponax, and sticky labdanum. As the scent settles onto skin, a heavy cloud of birch-like smoke emerges, wrapped in dark leather, earthy patchouli, and medicinal oud. The profile leans dry, smoky, and herbally pungent rather than sweet or gourmand. It creates an uncompromising atmosphere reminiscent of burning firewood on a freezing night. This fragrance demands cold weather, heavyweight wool coats, and a wearer comfortable with dark, industrial resinous aromas. Show less
