Enchanted Forest opens with a burst of crushed black currant leaf, tart black currant blossom, and cold red wine. French perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour builds this 2012 creation around the entire black currant bush, balancing raw greenery with rich fruitiness. As the sharp opening settles, earthy vetiver and crushed coriander seed emerge alongside subtle honeysuckle. The base anchors the composition in damp balsam fir, dark oakmoss, resinous opoponax, and soft cedar. It smells like a shadowy coniferous forest after autumn rain, damp, woody, and slightly medicinal.
