Bookstore by Forage opens with a dark roast coffee scent dusted in fresh cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg. The spices hit early alongside a dry, aromatic warmth that feels grounded rather than sugary. As the top notes settle, sharp ginger and heavy clove push through the center, adding a bit of bite to the brew. The dry-down relies on smooth vanilla, woody notes, and warm tonka bean to cushion the lingering coffee bean scent on skin. It sits close to the wearer after the initial hour, making it an easy pick for cold rainy afternoons. Show less

Wallachian Perfumes MIRIFICUS opens with an aggressive burst of roasted coffee, tart blackcurrant, and spicy saffron before settling into a dense floral heart of dark rose and powder-dusted iris. Perfumer Arturetto Landi constructed this 2024 unisex scent around a heavy base of raw oud, smoky incense, Nagarmotha, and salty ambergris, softened slightly by sweet vanilla and brown sugar. It projects with noticeable force during cold autumn nights and formal winter occasions, cutting easily through frigid outdoor air. While the top notes flash bright fruit and espresso, the long dry down turns deeply balsamic, earthy, and leathery. Show less
