Notturno by I Profumi di d'Annunzio balances vivid Italian sunshine with deep twilight shadows. The first spray releases tart lemon, zesty bergamot, and sweet mandarin orange, quickly tempered by herbaceous lavender. It feels immediate and sharp. Give the alcohol two minutes to settle. Soon, rich orange blossom and golden ylang-ylang emerge alongside dry cedar and earthy patchouli. Warm amber, vanilla, and tonka bean anchor the base, providing hours of resinous sweetness. This is an assertive woody floral musk built for cool autumn evenings, intimate dinners, and crisp spring nights. It is striking, layered, and unmistakably dramatic. Show less

Virtus by Angela Ciampagna opens with a sharp burst of neroli and bitter galbanum before shifting into a dry forest canopy. Green fig leaves and crushed pine needles cut through a base of cedar and patchouli, creating a dark aromatic texture. Soft Jasmine Sambac and dusty orris root add a pale floral undertone that keeps the sap from feeling harsh. As it warms on skin, incense and clove linger alongside dry vetiver. It smells like vintage Italian perfumery built with modern weight, balancing green bitterness against cool resins for crisp fall days. Show less

OT - 23 by Olfattology hits the skin with a sharp, medicinal burst of saffron and bitter orange before settling into an unexpected oceanic floral haze. This unisex composition plays a strange game of tug-of-war between cold sea notes and warm, smoky resins like myrrh and gurjan balsam. Unlike typical marine scents that rely on bright citrus or clean laundry musks, this one uses cypriol and agarwood to ground the watery accords in something damp, earthy, and metallic. It is a challenging option that sits comfortably on cool spring days or foggy autumn afternoons. If you want a clean office scent, look elsewhere, but if you appreciate dark, salty woods, this is worth a sample. Show less

Enslaved opens with a bright flash of citrus and lavender, then quickly settles into a rich carnation, amber and moss structure that feels warm, spicy and unmistakably old-school. The floral heart stays in the background while the resinous base does most of the talking. This suits shoppers who enjoy vintage-leaning oriental chypres, dense texture and a polished, formal feel. If you want. Show less
