VIII Eight reads as a warm amber woody scent with a spicy, herbal opening and a darker, resinous core. Saffron, cardamom, lavender and citrus brighten the top before tobacco, oud, leather and vanilla settle in. It looks best suited to someone who enjoys textured, slightly old-school orientals with a dry woody base rather than a sugary gourmand finish. Show less

Khanjar by Otoori opens with a sharp burst of saffron, bergamot, and bitter artemisia before introducing a heart of dark rose, nutmeg, and dry cedarwood. As the initial herbal spike recedes, the fragrance settles into a heavy base dominated by sweet praline, dense vanilla, styrax, and smoky cypriol oil. The amber accord creates a thick, resinous warmth that coats the skin, while leather and oud add a dark backdrop. Designed for cold autumn evenings and formal winter gatherings, this oriental woody scent projects strongly for the first two hours before pulling back. It offers a dense, sweet, and spicy profile for lovers of bold Middle Eastern perfumery who appreciate heavy gourmand resins mixed with woody smoke. Show less

Secret Service Legend by Brocard opens with a sharp flash of bitter artemisia and crisp bergamot, softened by pink pepper. As the citrus top clears, warm cinnamon and nutmeg merge with dry cedarwood and a pale geranium note. The dry-down turns earthier as patchouli, dark tobacco, and a light leather accord settle on the skin. Created by French perfumer Celine Ripert, this fragrance balances fresh spicy brightness with quiet woods and bitter herbs. It stays relatively light on skin, shifting quickly from its snappy opening into a dry, warm cedar and tobacco base that feels familiar and restrained. Show less
