Waters of Aswan opens with crisp bergamot, sweet mandarin orange, and an unusual fermented lotus note that smells almost like fruity rice wine. As the initial flash clears, translucent watery notes merge with blue lotus absolute, white lily, and soft jasmine. The base grounds the damp floral haze with dry papyrus root, earthy vetiver, dark ebony wood, and clean Egyptian musk. Created by perfumer Juan Perez in 2012, this floral aquatic is built for humid spring mornings and warm summer afternoons when standard citrus colognes feel too sharp.
