Ember by Strangers Parfumerie opens with a flash of bitter tangerine, crisp lavender, and sharp cinnamon. That brief brightness quickly gives way to heavy olibanum, raw leather, and dense elemi resin. Perfumer Prin Lomros draws inspiration from traditional Indian Shamamatul amber, infusing the formula with earthy roots, birch smoke, and dark spices. As it settles on warm skin during crisp autumn evenings, dark rose, jasmine, and sandalwood soften the dirty animalic edge. It wears best in cold weather with leather jackets or heavy wool coats, projecting a dry, resinous trail that lingers past sunset. Show less
