Piazza Esedra by Bottega del Profumo, created by perfumer Andrea Marcoccia in 2010, takes a wet green approach to the traditional aromatic fougere family. The scent opens with cool water notes, crisp lavender, and bright citruses that mimic damp morning air. As the liquid warms on skin, marigold and herbal sage join a distinct violet note to introduce a slightly dry, floral undertone. The base relies on earthy vetiver, cedar, and sandalwood combined with smooth amber and white musk. Petitgrain adds a bitter leafiness that keeps the wood notes crisp rather than heavy. It wears light on skin, making it a natural choice for mild weather.
