Heroine 1980 by LabSolue opens with a sharp burst of smoky olibanum resin, dry amyris wood, and green, earthy cypriol oil. As the initial coniferous punch settles on skin, a dark leather accord emerges alongside an unsweetened, woody vanilla base. Perfumer Aurélien Guichard constructed this amber fragrance to balance raw frankincense balsam against dark animalic undertones. It wears best during chilly autumn and winter evenings, clinging for hours to leather jackets and heavy woolen knitwear.
