Java Blossom by Xerjoff is a concentrated attar built around dark vetiver, smoky agarwood, and heavy white florals. Released in 2012 as part of the Mukhallat collection, perfumer Chris Maurice opens the blend with a sharp burst of bergamot that quickly gives way to dense incense and indolic tuberose. As it warms on skin, green sandalwood and dry vetiver anchor the heart, creating a bitter, earthy backdrop. The dry-down relies on resinous oud and orange blossom to soften the smoky edges.
