Lieu de Reves opens with a bright burst of purple violet and sweet heliotrope before settling into a dusty, almond-tinted powdery floral core. Created by Laurie Erickson in 2009 for Sonoma Scent Studio, the composition avoids thick gourmand sweetness by leaning on a crisp cedar base. Soft rose petals and warm musk drift through the heart, keeping the florals gentle rather than sharp. It sits close to the skin during cool spring mornings or quiet fall afternoons. The dry down drops the initial floral pop, leaving a warm trace of vanilla and dry wood. Show less
