Lucky Oud by Bortnikoff opens with a distinct tartness from styrax paired with dark cacao and sweet white lotus. The lotus flowers in this formulation were infused directly into sandalwood oil, giving the top floral notes a dense, creamy backbone rather than a watery feel. As the fragrance warms on skin, tea rose and tonka bean round out the bitter chocolate notes, while a natural Thai agarwood base adds dry, woody depth.
