Plombir by Champagne opens with a loud punch of chilled guava and sweet grapes. It smells edible right away. Thick black locust honey coats the tart fruit notes, giving the mixture a dense, nectar-like texture. Within ten minutes, roasted coffee and warm cinnamon emerge beneath the surface, preventing the fragrance from becoming pure sugar syrup. Rich vanilla anchors the drydown, mimicking the velvety chill of traditional Russian ice cream. You get enormous projection for the first two hours. Be careful with the sprayer. Two spritzes are plenty for a full afternoon.
