Malinau by Jinkoh Store strips away the fluff to present real Indonesian agarwood in its most honest form. It opens with an unexpected zing of fresh spices, reminiscent of crushed black peppercorns and green forest sap, before diving into deep, resinous oud wood. Unlike dark, animalic distillations that smell like a wet barn floor, this Kalimantan timber smells clean, smoky, and woodsy, like stepping into an old cedar cabin warmed by an open hearth.
