Christian Carbonnel builds this 2023 composition around a stark contrast between airy frankincense and dirty Cambodian oud. The heart pulses with bitter myrrh, dry cinnamon bark, and pungent cloves. As the fragrance warms on skin, Laotian oud joins animalic ambergris and salty musk to create a heavy resinous base.
