Mellifera opens with an unpasteurized splash of golden honey, raw beeswax, and dusty pollen. Freshly whipped butter and a tart splash of strawberry natural isolate brighten the dense top notes before rich apricot simmers beneath the surface. As the fragrance settles, dry sandalwood and warm vanilla cushion the sticky gourmand accords. A distinct undercurrent of civet and muskrat musk emerges after twenty minutes, giving the honey a funky, skunky depth on warmth of skin.
