Parfumane Deruni opens with a surprising splash of dark chocolate shavings and cracked black pepper, accented by a mild drop of creamy coconut milk. As the initial spicy sweetness settles, smoky guaiac wood and earthy patchouli take center stage alongside a resinous wave of warm olibanum frankincense. The base rests on thick golden amber, resinous agarwood oud, and dark vanilla bean that clings closely to the skin for hours. It smells like enjoying high-cocoa truffles near a crackling cedar hearth on a chilly autumn evening. The wood notes keep the gourmand elements from turning into cloying candy, creating a deep, cozy winter profile tailored for cold weather outings. Show less
