Playboy VIP (2023) opens with a boozy splash of rum balanced by tart rhubarb and crisp bergamot. The top notes hit fast and bright before giving way to a fresh heart of lavender, apple, and airy aquatic notes. As it settles onto skin, the composition shifts toward a warm base of white chocolate, tonka bean, labdanum, and soft sandalwood, offering a sweet gourmand contrast to the early aquatic freshness. Designed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, this oriental fougere plays a clever trick by layering cool, herbal clary sage over a rich, dessert-like dry-down. It feels tailored for casual evening hangouts, cool autumn nights, and relaxed winter dates where you want an approachable, cozy scent trail without spending designer money. While longevity is moderate, its affordable price tag makes it a low-risk option to add to a casual rotation. Show less
