SALTANAT by Perito Moreno opens with a sharp burst of lime, lemon, and bergamot before shifting into a dense heart of clove leaf, roasted coffee, and gaiac wood. As the initial citrus crispness recedes, the fragrance exposes a heavy base dominated by Indian oud, Thailand oud, labdanum, and animalic civet. Sandalwood and cedarwood provide a dry timber frame, while ambergris adds a salty marine warmth under the spices. Created by perfumer Nitish Dixit as an attar formulation, SALTANAT presents a stark contrast between bright top notes and dark resinous depth. The citrus top keeps the heavy woods from becoming muddy during the first hour of wear.
