Café Nocturne by House Of Sillage delivers an immediate feeling of comfort, opening with ripe peach skin softened by warm steamed milk and a faint dusting of pink pepper. As the scent settles, a heart of rich spiced rum, sweet strawberry syrup, and creamy vanilla takes center stage, creating the soothing sensation of an artisan hot toddy by the fireplace. The base shifts away from sticky sugar toward dry oak wood, fluffy clean musks, and a resinous touch of olibanum incense. It smells grounded rather than cloying, balancing milky sweetness with rugged timber. This perfume shines during chilly autumn evenings, quiet dinner dates, and lazy weekend mornings at home. Le Feu D'Issey Light opens with a distinctive snap of star anise and bitter bergamot, grounded by heavy mahogany wood. As the top notes clear, a surprising steamed milk accord emerges over soft rose and white jasmine. Sweet caramel and coconut add subtle warmth without pushing the composition into sticky gourmand territory. The dry-down settles into a creamy base of sandalwood, guaiac wood, and clean musk. It sits close to skin after three hours, leaving a gentle trail of peppery wood and vanilla. Built for cool spring mornings and quiet indoor settings, this formulation feels sheerer and brighter than its fiery predecessor. Show less

Amaranthine is a creamy, green, spiced floral with a famously intimate edge. Reviewers describe milk, green banana leaf, ylang-ylang, tea, cardamom and soft musk, moving from humid tropical greenery into a warmer, skin-like dry-down. It is beautiful to some and difficult to others. Sample first if lactonic notes, cumin-like warmth, animalic skin scents, or odd green florals can turn sour on you. Show less
