Saskia by Grandiflora centers on a raw, humid gardenia blossom surrounded by wet greenery and salty rain notes. Created by perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, it pairs sharp ginger and crushed violet leaf with a heavy white floral heart. A base of oakmoss and mimosa absolute gives the dry-down an earthy ground. It feels like standing inside a greenhouse after a heavy downpour. Rather than a sweet commercial floral, Saskia retains the mushroomy, mentholated, and lactonic facets of living petals.
