The initial citrus fade occurs within ten minutes, leaving behind a crisp, coniferous air that feels still and sharp. As the top notes settle, dry hinoki wood, smoky cypriol, and earthy patchouli take control of the heart, turning the smell darker and drier. The dry down reveals the core character of this woody chypre. A damp mushroom accord merges with thick oakmoss, subtle civet, rich labdanum, and quiet musk.
