Spicebomb Night Vision Eau de Parfum departs from the dry, crackling wood fire of the original line. Instead, it hits the skin with a dark, syrupy sweetness, slicing through with crisp green apple and a cold cardamom fizz. As it warms up, the aromatic heart of lavender and rosemary grounds the initial sweetness before settling into a woody, resinous base of cedar and benzoin. It is a loud, modern aromatic fougere built for cool autumn nights and crowded bars. While purists might miss the dry black pepper of the original, this version feels much more at home in cold weather where its heavy, sweet projection can truly open up.
