Amber Kiso by DS&Durga hits your skin with the raw, resinous crackle of fresh cypress needles and dry cedar shavings. Within moments, smoldering ceremonial incense clouds the air like an ancient mountain shrine. The opening is sharp. A distinct lacquer or furniture varnish bite catches your nose during the first five minutes before warm body heat takes over. Then, sticky maple sap and earthy patchouli seep into the wood grain, softening the smoky bite without adding syrupy sugar. Heavy saddle leather and damp hinoki wood anchor the base. It is a brooding, dry forest scent made for freezing weather. Show less

Tobacco Flower reads as a dry, woody aromatic with green spice, moss and a restrained citrus lift. Geranium, patchouli and fern give the opening a brisk, slightly old-world feel before cedar, sandalwood and white oud pull it into darker, denser territory. This looks best suited to shoppers who enjoy textured, serious unisex scents rather than soft sweetness. With the available wear votes. Show less

Sandalo Ebano Aoud reads as a dark, resinous woody scent built around oud, sandalwood, leather and smoke, with a brighter opening of lemon, red fruits and incense. It leans bold rather than easygoing. The structure suggests a spicy, aromatic start that settles into dry woods, balsamic depth and an animalic leather base. Limited wear feedback points to strong projection and very long. Show less
