Volcano by Carner Barcelona is a fragrance for women and men. Volcano was launched in 2018. Top notes are Bulgarian Rose, Ginger and Indonesian Nutmeg; middle notes are Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Olibanum and Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha; base notes are Agarwood (Oud), Siam Benzoin, Spanish Labdanum and Haitian Vetiver. It opens with Bulgarian Rose, Ginger. The heart moves into Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Olibanum. In the dry-down, Agarwood (Oud), Siam Benzoin give it its base. From the way people describe wearing it, this comes across best as excellent longevity on skin and clothes; ideal for cold weather and winter; beautiful balance of rose and resins. The trade-off is that it may feel concept lacks actual volcanic imagery; rose note feels dated to some; high price point for the genre depending on taste and setting. Show less
