Shiseido Zen Summer launches with a crisp, dew-dappled brightness that instantly cuts through oppressive humidity. The initial spray delivers a sharp splash of Amalfi lemon and bitter grapefruit, softened slightly by the green crunch of apple. As the fragrance settles on the skin, the sharp citrus edge yields to a serene, watery floral heart where lotus and freesia create a clean, airy space. It feels like stepping into a cool Japanese stone garden during a mid-July downpour. A quiet base of musk and Virginia cedar ensures it does not dissolve into simple sugar, keeping the dry-down dry, woody, and clean. This limited edition is built specifically for hot days when heavy, sweet scents feel suffocating. It is an excellent choice for casual office wear or relaxed weekend mornings, offering a refreshing alternative to standard citrus colognes.
