Blog by Shirley May brings a heavy dose of retro masculinity, leading with a sharp burst of lemon and cool rosemary. This bright, herbal opening soon shifts as lavender and basil add a green, soap-like freshness on the skin. It feels clean, resembling a traditional barbershop shave rather than a modern sweet scent. As it dries down, a dry base of oakmoss and leather keeps the scent grounded and earthy. It is best suited for spring mornings and daytime wear when you want a clean, professional scent profile. This is an affordable option for those who appreciate old-school green aromatics. Show less

Pure Black by Creation Lamis opens with an energetic blend of crisp green notes, tangy pineapple, and sharp lemon, quickly balanced by a hint of spicy cardamom. As the initial brightness settles, aromatic juniper berry and coriander emerge alongside dry cedar and herbal angelica, shifting the scent from fruity freshness to clean barbershop woodiness. The dry-down settles into earthy oakmoss, deep patchouli, and resinous balsam fir that cling close to the skin. It delivers a familiar, vintage masculine profile reminiscent of classic eighties aromatic fougeres without feeling stuffy or overly heavy. It works nicely for casual daytime errands, yard work, or relaxed weekend outings. Show less
